a) If you DO NOT sign in (local-only mode)
All your data — focus sessions, XP, streaks, fighter name, settings — is stored only on your device. We do not receive or see it.
b) If you sign in (Google or Apple)
To back up and sync your progress across devices, we store the following in our cloud database (Supabase):
We do not collect: contacts, location, photos, microphone, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or any data for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party analytics or trackers.
Solely to provide the app's features: saving your progress, syncing it across your devices, and restoring it if you reinstall.
Cloud data is stored with Supabase (our database/auth provider), which processes it on our behalf. Authentication is provided by Google and Apple when you choose to sign in. Each provider handles your sign-in under its own privacy policy.
Row-Level Security ensures each user can only ever access their own data.
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud and local data at any time from the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This is immediate and irreversible.
Signing out (without deleting) keeps your cloud backup and leaves local data on your device.
FocusBox is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
You may access, correct, or delete your data using the in-app controls (Settings → Account, and Reset options). For any request, contact us at the email above.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
